M.OS Architects

M.OS Architects is a London based practice formed in 2013 by co-director’s Richa Mukhia and John O’Shea. We are a design led practice with a broad portfolio ranging from exhibition design, masterplanning, cultural and residential experience.

We believe in open dialogue and a transparent approach between client and architect within the design process. We start by interrogating the brief and site prior to jumping in to predetermined, formulaic solutions. We listen carefully to the needs of our clients and respond with solutions aimed at unlocking the potential of the project.

Our strength lies in a combination of knowledge and intuition, the head and the heart. This is how we operate through every step of the process. We investigate a brief systematically and develop the design combining intuition and ‘feel’ with a rational approach honed from decades of design experience.

We always look to find uplift in a project. Aspects like quality of light, improving functionality, maximising every square meter of space and the careful use of materials are just some of the areas where we look to celebrate and exploit within a design.

We will undertake all stages of a project from feasibility design through to administering on site. We are able to help you through the planning process breaking the process down into clear and manageable stages based on the RIBA plan of work.
